George P. Grimbilas

George P. Grimbilas is a Strategic Advisor to Rand Thompson Consultants, where he leads the firm's marketing, its digital strategy, and its digital and AI infrastructure. He sources candidates at every level, from junior roles to the most senior, and brings new institutional clients to the firm.

George began his career as an investment banker in Global Investment Banking in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup in New York City, working across industrials, telecommunications, maritime, consumer products, and financial technology.

Most recently he was at Nesvold Capital, a merchant bank, as a growth equity investor and an investment banker. He continues to make non-control growth equity and venture capital investments of his own.

George is also a founder and operator. He builds the digital infrastructure and marketing that service businesses run on. He also owns and operates a portfolio of retail brands.

George received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Government from Bowdoin College, where he served as President of the Bowdoin College Finance Society. He was born and raised in New York City and was educated at The Browning School, where he currently serves on the Alumni Council. He lives on the Upper East Side.
