Position Title: VP, ETF Portfolio Management Specialist
Department: Asset Management – Portfolio Management Team
Location: New York, NY

Description:

Seeking candidate at the VP level to:

  • Assist the Portfolio Management Team in the daily management and repositioning of ETF portfolios, and to optimize sub-advised capabilities in securities-based products.
  • Duties will encompass infrastructure build out, investment performance analyses, portfolio management and trading related functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of 11 futures-based commodity and currency funds, totaling $13bn of assets
  • Oversee sub-advised securities-based ETFs both externally managed and managed by affiliates
  • Communicate and effect trading decisions made by the portfolio manager with broker-dealers Obtain familiarity with the portfolio management and trading systems and strategies.
  • Perform, assist and supervise with a variety of portfolio holding, performance, regulatory and marketing metrics.
  • Coordinate between portfolio management, trading, operations, fund accounting, fund custodian and other areas.
  • Capture, maintain and/or input data to facilitate the portfolio management and trading function. Perform analytics pertaining to, competitors and benchmarks.  Data and analyses will revolve around fund and index performance, transaction costs, and asset flows. Perform other investment performance analysis as needed.
  • Conduct research projects.
  • Monitor, report, and assist in implementing index changes and corporate actions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required. Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or related preferred.
  • One to three years related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Requires very strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Requires extreme attention to detail.
  • Understanding of financial derivatives including futures, options, and swaps are a plus.
